A sharp drop after a busy year
Its loans fell 72% in 2025. Similar lenders, credit unions making between half and twice as many loans, saw a 12% fall, and the whole market grew 10%. The drop was steeper than at almost any peer. The year before had been its busiest since at least 2018; in the four reported years before that it made between 25 and 44 loans. 2021 has no report, which is a gap in the record, not a lean year.
