A long decline
Its loans fell 42% in 2025, from 26 to 15. Similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans) fell 12%, and the whole market rose 10%. The fall is years old: 185 loans in 2021, 58 in 2022 and 20 in 2023. The figures do not say why. The credit union may have chosen to lend less on homes, or fewer members may have sought mortgages from it.
