A purchase lender leaning on FHA
Home purchases made up 88.3% of its loans. FHA loans were 45.6% of the total, against 15.0% at similar lenders, meaning independent non-bank lenders making between half and twice as many loans. That share was higher than more than four in five of them, and it made no loans guaranteed by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
