Bank of Prairie Village is a small Kansas City lender of large loans, and it grew faster in 2025 than nine in ten similar banks.
Its typical loan was $345,000, against $175,000 at similar lenders, here state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans. Jumbo loans, those larger than the conforming limit, were 20.0% of its lending against 1.8%, higher than at more than nine in ten peers. With 37 loans, a few big ones move that share.
