Its loans fell from 1,124 in 2024 to 321, while similar lenders, independent non-bank lenders making between half and twice as many loans, grew 3% and the whole market grew 10%. Almost none of its peers shrank faster. The fall continues a slide that began after 2020, through 1,979 loans in 2022 and 1,097 in 2023.
