4U Federal Credit Union made 27 loans in 2025, down 23% from 35 the year before. Similar lenders, meaning credit unions making between half and twice as many loans, fell 4%, while the whole market rose 10%. The credit union made 60 loans in 2020 and 54 in 2022. On so few loans a year, a handful of borrowers more or fewer could account for the fall.
