Lower-income borrowers
Borrowers with low or moderate incomes (LMI) took 41.2% of its loans, against 27.3% at similar lenders (state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans), more than at almost nine in ten of them. Homes in LMI neighborhoods drew 24.1%, also above peers' 18.4%. These are the measures the Community Reinvestment Act asks banks about.
