A shrinking book
The bank made 45 loans in 2025, down 35% from 69. Similar lenders (state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans) grew 3%, and the whole market 10%; more than nine in ten of those lenders grew faster. The decline is not new: originations have slipped every year since 93 in 2020. At this size one customer or one branch could move the figures a long way.
