Stone Bank, an Arkansas bank, makes more of its home loans on manufactured homes than most similar banks, and lends often for home improvement.
Manufactured homes made up 10.8% of its loans, against 2.1% at similar lenders (state member banks making between half and twice as many loans), more than about five in six of them. Home improvement made up 11.8%. Its typical loan was $145,000, against $175,000 at similar lenders.
