A shift in where it lends
Majority-minority neighborhoods took 20.3% of its loans in 2025, against 6.8% at similar lenders, state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans. That is more than at about seven in ten of them. Low- and moderate-income neighborhoods took 23.8%, up from 5.2% five years before. Its lending in Milwaukee, where it ranks 132 of 510 lenders, and in Kenosha, which it entered in 2018, may account for the change.
