Schaumburg Bank & Trust Company, a national bank in Schaumburg, Illinois, makes few home loans but large ones: its typical loan, $695,000, is almost four times that of similar lenders.
Jumbo loans, those above the conforming limit, made up 42.1% of its lending, against 3.2% at similar lenders (other national banks making between half and twice as many loans).
