A neighborhood lender
Some 42.6% of its loans went to homes in low- and moderate-income (LMI) neighborhoods, against 18.5% at similar lenders, state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans. That is higher than about nine in ten of them. Its share in majority-minority neighborhoods, 24.1% against 6.3%, is higher than about three-quarters. Its share of loans to LMI borrowers, 20.6%, is below the middle of the group.
