Big loans from a small lender
Its typical loan in 2025 was $425,000, against $95,000 at similar credit unions (those of the same type making between half and twice as many loans). That is higher than at almost all of them. One loan in ten, 10.9%, was jumbo (larger than the conforming limit); the typical peer made none. So its 47 loans came to $23.6 million, against $6.5 million at a typical peer. All were conventional, and its typical rate, 6.10%, was lower than at most peers.
