Kelly Community Federal Credit Union, a refinancing lender in Tyler, Texas, nearly doubled its loans in 2025 and more than doubled its share of its home market.
It made 62 loans, up 82% from 34 the year before, while similar credit unions (those making between half and twice as many loans) grew by 7%. More than nine in ten of them grew less. But 2024 was a low: it made 82 loans in 2021, so the jump only partly restores its earlier level.
