A lender of four parts
No single purpose dominates. Home improvement took 27.1% of its loans, purchases 25.7%, refinancing 24.3% and other purposes 22.9%. Its typical loan was $70,000, against $95,000 at similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans). The large share of home-improvement and other loans, which tend to be small, may account for the gap.
