Of its 47 loans, 21.3% were in neighborhoods where most residents belong to minority groups, against 5.6% at similar lenders (state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans). That is higher than at about three in four peers. It also lent 25.5% in poorer neighborhoods (low- and moderate-income, or LMI, tracts), against 18.3% for peers. The markets it serves, around Salisbury and non-metro Maryland, may explain both.
