Poorer borrowers, cheaper homes
Low- and moderate-income (LMI) borrowers took 63.2% of its 58 loans, against 30.8% at similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans), more than at almost all of them. Manufactured homes made up 34.5% of its loans; the typical similar lender made none. Lending on cheaper homes is one possible reason its borrowers earn less.
