Growth, perhaps helped by mergers
Its loans rose from 53. Similar lenders, state member banks making between half and twice as many loans, grew 8%, and the whole market 10%. It merged with First National Bank of Alvin and Pearland State Bank in 2025. The mergers may account for some of the rise, though the merged banks' own filings are not counted in its loans. Its count is still below the 186 of 2021. Purchases were 67.4% of its loans, refinancing 16.3% and other purposes 14.0%.
