First Cahawba Bank, an Alabama home-purchase lender that first reported in 2023, has made more loans each year since.
It made 55 loans in 2025, up 15% from 48, after 38 in 2023, its first year of reporting. Similar lenders (state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans) grew 7% and the whole market 10%. It grew faster than about three in five of them.
Home purchases made up 74.5% of its loans, all conventional. Manufactured homes were 10.9%, against 2.7% at its peers, higher than about four in five of them. Its typical loan of $175,000 was near the middle of its peers.

Its largest market by dollars is Daphne-Fairhope-Foley, where it ranked 81 of 485 with an unchanged 0.2% share. Its share rose to 0.1% in Montgomery and slipped to 0.3% from 0.7% in Anniston-Oxford. With few loans in each market, a handful more or less moves these shares.
