Five years of decline
It made 45 home loans in 2025, down 27%, while similar lenders (savings institutions making between half and twice as many loans) grew 1% and the whole market 10%. Its fall was steeper than at more than four in five of those peers. In 2020 it made 243. Refinances were only 20.0% of its loans in 2025, so a drop in refinancing after 2021 may account for some of the fall; the bank may also have chosen to lend less. The data do not say which.
