Poorer borrowers, not poorer places
38.5% of its 44 loans went to LMI borrowers, against 28.2% at similar lenders (state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans). That is more than three in four of them, and up from 23.2% five years before. Only 4.5% went to LMI neighborhoods and none to majority-minority ones. Its footprint may be the reason: its largest market is non-metro Wisconsin.
