Bristol Morgan Bank, a Wisconsin bank that lends mostly to home buyers, raised its lending 57% in 2025, faster than about nine in ten similar lenders.
It made 85 loans in 2025, up from 54. Similar lenders, lenders of the same type making between half and twice as many loans, grew 8%; the whole market grew 10%. Its record swings widely: 302 loans in 2021, then 73 in 2023 and 54 in 2024.

It made 25.0% of its loans in low- and moderate-income (LMI) neighborhoods, against 16.4% for similar lenders, more than about three in four of them. Its share to LMI borrowers, also 25.0%, was near the middle of the group.
