Bank of Forest, a Mississippi bank, has made more loans in every year it reported since 2020, many of them on manufactured homes and in majority-minority neighborhoods.
It made 65 loans in 2020 and 107 in 2025, more each year it reported; it filed no report for 2022. Last year's rise, 10%, was close to the 9% at similar lenders (state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans). Its dollar total rose to $16.9 million from $4.8 million in 2020.
