Lending to modest incomes
Borrowers with low and moderate incomes (LMI) took 69.1% of its loans, against 30.9% at similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans). Poorer neighborhoods (LMI tracts) took 66.1%, against 17.4%. In both it was higher than nearly all similar lenders. Only 1.8% went to majority-minority areas, against 9.6%, which may reflect a footprint of four Iowa counties in one metro.
