A government lender among banks
Only 78.2% of its loans were conventional, a lower share than at nearly all similar lenders (state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans). FHA loans (insured by the Federal Housing Administration) made up 11.9%. The rest were guaranteed by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or the Department of Agriculture's Rural Housing Service (RHS). Home purchases were 75.8% of its loans, and manufactured homes 10.3%, against 2.5% at peers.
