Pathways Financial Credit Union, a Columbus credit union that lends mostly for purposes other than buying a home, more than doubled its loans in 2025.
It made 378 loans, up 118% from 173. Similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans) grew 6%, and few grew faster. Its dollar volume rose from $36.3 million to $62.5 million. The jump takes it back toward the 476 loans it made in 2020.

In Columbus, OH, it ranked 68 of 596 lenders, and its share rose from 0.2% to 0.3%. The Huntington National Bank leads that market. Outside its home metro its shares are small.
