Our analysis, 2025
Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union, a Wyoming credit union that lends mostly for refinances and home improvement, made 75% more loans in 2025 than in 2024 and about doubled its share in Cheyenne.
It made 404 loans, up 75%, while similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans) grew 6% and the whole market 10%. Its growth was higher than at about nine in ten of them.
