Longview Community Bank, a small Illinois bank, more than tripled its lending in 2025, to 127 loans from 40, and entered five new metros.
Originations rose 217%, the most among similar lenders (state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans), whose typical growth was 9%. The 40 loans of 2024 are a small base. It filed no report for 2020 to 2022, gaps in the record rather than years without lending.
