A neighborhood lender
Poorer neighborhoods (low- and moderate-income, or LMI, tracts) took 41.4% of its loans, against 16.5% at similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans). That share and its majority-minority share were both higher than at nearly all of them. Five years earlier they were 27.7% and 64.4%.
