Majority-minority neighborhoods
Majority-minority neighborhoods took 40.1% of its loans, against 5.3% at similar lenders (state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans), more than at about nine in ten of them. Low- and moderate-income (LMI) neighborhoods took 30.1%, against 17.4%. LMI borrowers took 33.1%, up from 21.1% a year earlier. The make-up of the Mississippi communities it serves could account for much of this.
