First Federal Savings Bank, of Ottawa, Illinois, made as many loans in 2025 as in 2024, but lent far more money: $64.9 million, up from $47.9 million.
It made 254 loans, against 255 in 2024, while similar lenders (savings institutions making between half and twice as many loans) grew 7%. It still made more loans than more than two-thirds of them.
