Connections Credit Union, of Pocatello, Idaho, lends mainly to owners who are refinancing or borrowing for other purposes, and in 2025 it won a bigger slice of its home market.
In Pocatello, ID, its largest market, its share rose from 1.7% to 2.3%, and it ranked 12 of 153 lenders. Idaho Central Credit Union led there and in each of its other large Idaho markets. Elsewhere its shares held still, at 0.3% in both Idaho Falls, ID and Twin Falls, ID.
Refinances made up 49.8% of its loans and other purposes 43.3%. Purchases were just 6.0%. All its loans were conventional. Its typical loan rose from $90,000 to $125,000, against $105,000 at similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans).

LMI neighborhoods took 20.9%. Majority-minority neighborhoods took 0.5%, against 11.3%, which may reflect the makeup of the Idaho markets it serves.
