Bank of Bridger nearly doubled its lending in 2025, and almost a quarter of its loans are for manufactured homes.
It made 120 loans, against 61 a year earlier, a rise of 97%. Similar lenders (national banks making between half and twice as many loans) grew 3%, and almost none grew faster. The rise takes it back to its level of 2020 to 2022, when it made between 103 and 123 loans a year, after 61 in both 2023 and 2024.
Manufactured homes made up 23.3% of its loans, against 1.6% at the typical similar lender, a higher share than at almost all of them. Purchases were 50.8% of its lending and refinances 36.7%. Its typical loan, $180,000, was close to peers' $185,000.
In Billings, MT, where it has lent since 2008, its share rose to 0.8% from 0.6%, for a rank of 28 of 201 lenders. Stockman Bank of Montana leads there. It lends in only one state and six counties. Whether its manufactured-home loans are mainly purchases or refinances is a question the figures here leave open.
