National Cooperative Bank is a New York-centred national bank making large loans, with a typical loan more than double similar banks' and far more lending in majority-minority areas, and its 615 loans in 2025 were 25% more than in 2024.
Its typical loan was $445,000, against $190,000 at similar lenders (national banks making between half and twice as many loans), larger than at nearly all of them.
