Its loans rose from 386 in 2023 to 643 in 2024 and held at 654 in 2025, up 2% against 6% for similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans), below the middle of them. Refinance was 37.9% of its lending, other purposes 31.3%, purchase 19.3% and home improvement 11.5%.
Its typical loan was $205,000, against $105,000 for similar lenders. Five years before it was $455,000 and 16.3% of its loans were jumbo (larger than the conforming limit); in 2025 none were, down from 5.4% a year earlier. Its current mix, mostly refinance and other-purpose loans, could account for the smaller typical loan.
Only 12.4% of its loans went to low- and moderate-income (LMI) borrowers, against 26.9%, lower than about nineteen in twenty similar lenders, and 11.0% were in LMI tracts, against 15.2%. Yet 25.1% were in majority-minority tracts, against 10.8%. Its larger loans and the markets it serves could explain the low LMI shares.
