Blue Federal Credit Union is a Cheyenne credit union that lends mostly in Colorado, mostly for home improvement and other purposes, and its 596 loans in 2025 were 16% more than in 2024.
Originations rose 16%, against 6% at similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans) and 10% for the whole market, faster than about two-thirds of peers. Its count had fallen from 912 in 2022 to 514 in 2024. It merged with Aventa Credit Union in 2024, one possible source of the rise.

Low- and moderate-income (LMI) areas took 12.2% of its loans, against 15.1% at similar lenders, lower than about three in four of them; majority-minority areas took 4.4%. Both may reflect the neighbourhoods its Colorado and Wyoming markets cover. LMI borrowers took 27.6%, near the middle of its peers.
