Copper State Credit Union, an Arizona credit union making mostly other-purpose loans, grew its originations 71% in 2025, faster than nearly all similar lenders.
Originations rose 71% to 914, while similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans) rose 8% and the whole market 10%, putting its growth above nearly all of them. Its count is also above the 761 of five years before. In 2025 it first lent in Denver-Aurora-Centennial, non-metro Missouri and Las Cruces, though only in small amounts.
