BankNewport is a Rhode Island bank of larger-than-typical loans, ranked 12 of 475 lenders around Providence, where its share fell in 2025 while its loan count rose 3%.
Its typical loan was $265,000, against $195,000 at similar lenders (state member banks making between half and twice as many loans), larger than about four in five of them.
