A lender of a different kind
Only 3.0% of its 2025 loans were purchases; 56.3% were refinances, 36.9% other purposes and 3.8% home improvement. FHA loans (insured by the Federal Housing Administration) were 69.9%, against 24.9% at similar lenders (independent non-bank lenders making between half and twice as many loans). That fits the reverse mortgages its name points to, so its prices and denials are not compared with those lenders.
