Founders Federal Credit Union, a South Carolina lender, gained share in each of its four largest metro markets in 2025 and ranks 7 of 409 lenders in Spartanburg.
In Spartanburg its share rose to 2.3% from 1.8%, ranking 7 of 409 lenders. It also rose in Charlotte-Concord-Gastonia, to 0.9% from 0.8%, in Greenville-Anderson-Greer, to 0.5% from 0.4%, and in Columbia, to 0.4% from 0.3%. It has lent in Charlotte since 1991 and in Spartanburg since 1993.
