Similar lenders (state member banks making between half and twice as many loans) had a typical loan of $185,000. Jumbo loans (larger than the conforming limit) were 72.7% of Texas Capital Bank's loans against 2.7% for them. Its dollar lending about doubled to $714.2 million while the count rose only from 36 to 43. They may be loans on apartment buildings or costly homes.
