Commercial Capital Bank grew faster than nearly all similar lenders in 2025, close to doubling its loans to 179 and lifting its share of the Monroe market to 6.2%.
Loans rose 81%, from 99 to 179, against 10% for similar lenders (state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans) and for the whole market; that is faster than nearly all of them. Dollars rose from $24.2 million to $91.4 million.
Its typical loan, $135,000, is smaller than the $175,000 of peers, yet 6.1% of its loans were jumbo (larger than the conforming limit), against 1.4% for peers. A handful of large loans, perhaps for higher-value homes, could explain why its dollar total is so high for its loan count. Manufactured homes, at 26.8% of its loans against 2.8% for peers, may help keep its typical loan small.
In Monroe it ranks 4 of 181 with 6.2% of lending, up 4.0 points from 2.2%. It ranks 7 of 316 in non-metro Louisiana and entered Baton Rouge, Slidell-Mandeville-Covington and Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers in 2025.
LMI (low- and moderate-income) borrowers took 20.9% of its loans, up from 7.8%, but still lower than about three in four similar lenders, and 10.1% of loans were in LMI areas against 17.6% for peers. A book weighted toward larger loans, and the areas around its branches, are plausible reasons.
