A lender of LMI and minority neighbourhoods
Of its loans, 38.6% were in LMI (low- and moderate-income) tracts and 40.9% in majority-minority tracts, against 18.1% and 6.2% for the typical similar lender (a bank of the same type making between half and twice as many loans). Both are higher than about nine in ten peers, which may reflect where its branches and home markets are.
