A rebound after a two-year dip
Similar lenders (state member banks making between half and twice as many loans) grew 8% and the whole market 10%; Central State Bank went from 80 loans to 138, faster than nearly all of them. Its dollar lending about doubled to $41.0 million. The jump returns it close to the 146 of five years before, after a low in 2024.
